It's Not as Easy as Print A Picture

My class just finished photography assignment to make a vector picture using enlarger.

My campus actually the only one wo still using enlarger in Indonesia. For me this project is really fun. At first I thought that we would learn how to develop a photo from a film roll and I just got really excited. But I was wrong, we must made our own layer to develop a black and white vector picture! I never imagine that made a picture with so many layer manually will make me stressed out.

When we went to the dark room for the first time, we must made our eyes adapted with the darkness. The smell from the developer liquid was made me a little dizzy. The developing process was quite fun. Turned the light on and off, I ran to the developer quickly because I couldn't wait to see if it works, moved the paper to the fixer, and then to the stop bath, I still couldn't see it clearly.

After I washed it and go outside, I want to shout. Wow! What a mess! Haha... I just didn't get the picture like what I wanted. So I made it four times and gave up :p

I choose one the best to collect it for my lecturer. I think I will drop by to the dark room soon to make a picture for my own. Those are the failed picture, I just couldn't control my hand to caoll down so the layer moved for some centimeters :(
