My Birthday!!!

Back on 19th July 1990, I was born. Yes, it is 22 years ago!

I spent this week alone because my sister is accompanying my mother to Medan. But, I'm not feeling  that lonely because I spent most of the days in campus, tried to make my thesis in one final part. I didn't feel anything weird on that day because a lot of administration things that we should did. In the afternoon we split in the way home and I putted myself comfortable did some illustration until... the light is turned OFF!

My heart skipped a beat but then I realize my neighbor window still showered my room with some lights and I know that my friends was tried to frighten me! Then I just pretend I didn't get disturb with the lights off and sat as comfortable as before for some minutes. One of my friend could wait longer so she texted me in rampage, disguised to ask me for going dinner. She pinged my phone several times, so then I went out to turned back the light, then I saw this.

The candle gave a too romantic situations and I felt like someone is going to propose me, haha... But I know that my friends just give me my widest smile. I even couldn't stop to laugh when they threw the egg, flour, and some party foam things to my body.

And then I had my revenge. RUN AND HUG THEM ONE BY ONE! So all of them is running like crazy while I joyfully would chase them everywhere.

And then we got tired from running and laughing, so I gave up and started to blew some candles on the love shaped carton. Again, those candles arrangement gave a too romantic feeling, haha... And then came the rainbow cake...

Really, I couldn't imagine how that day could be more better until they gave me an envelope that filled with cards that they wrote... and then a 'Handmade to Sell' book. I couldn't feel more happy! I bursted into tears and hugged them one by one *we already took a bath*

True friends are the one that never leave you in you hard times, the one that always can make you smiles when you get sad, the one that always accept both good and bad sides of you. If your friends is doing all that for you, never betrayed them and always love them. And I always grateful for having them as my friends  :')

And if you read this post until this line, thank you so much! I wish for joy and happiness for you! :)

Any of you that also have a birth in 19th July? I just want to know because there's none of my friend that share the same date of birthday with me :p

Relieve!

I'm thinking about new header *again* :p
Which one is better?

I just finished my final project presentation! What a great relieve! I'll post my book picture later :D

Right now I'm working as an assistant for a microstocker and in August I'll start as a lecturer assistant in my campus. Double-assistant job, for me it sounds like I'm a busy career woman, haha... But really, I never imagine that I will working as an assistant before, but both of this job is fun. I always passionate about art and that's why both of these jobs is giving me a new fresh point of view about it.

When I do my task for microstocking I always need to have a brainstorming first about how to make a variety in illustration. When I help the lecturer at class, I will always meet new design that created by young designer that will give me a lot of inspiration. Really, I'm feeling so grateful for having chance to have these exciting jobs.

I wish you guys also find happiness in every job that you have right now :)

Germany Fever

Yap, that's me working with the final project but my head filled with Miroslav Klose's face.
I'M SUPPORTING GERMANY FOR UEFA 2012!

I'm not supporting them because Miro is playing there. Germany vs Uni-Emirat Arab at FIFA World Cup 2002 is the first football match that I ever seen. How Germany team played was stunning and made me want to watch it until the end. Since then I always love to see Germany playing :)

Have a nice day, everybody! No matter if your supported country for UEFA 2012 was lost or still playing until now, all of the team is already trying and giving their best! Can't wait to see the final match. I really want to see Germany vs Spain, but this time it's Germany that hold the cup.

Anyway, thank you Yohana for joining my blog.

Kali Ciesemier

I jumped from one to another illustrator blog last night because the final project made me dizzy. After several blogs, I found Kali Ciesemier!!! And I just instantly falling in love with her illustration! She's really an inspiration! Her drawings makes me want to start drawing and learn to be better! Here's some of her drawings...

Two of the image above are © by Kali Ciesemier.

So, I've tried to make my own avatar by using her style. Yes, I know it's not even looks like having a same style because I only traced my own photo. I'm trying to use soft color palette like her so I'm not using a really different color scheme as I usually did.

Tattararaaa!

My friends asked me for a portrait

Haha, with the force of practice we will go forward! Thank you so much, Kali! *hug*

Have a great day, everybody! :D

Three Weeks to Countdown

I've recently passed my visual final project presentation. I have things to change with the illustration and the colors but not that major problems. 10th July is my final project presentation day and I'm still on the half of chapter six from all eight chapters for making illustration of "Around the World in 80 Days" novel by Jules Verne. Although the date has already been postpone for the second time, I'm still drawing with a speed of turtle. But, better moving than just staring at your problems! ;)

I have noticed that there are JAL. and Rachel Gaby that already joined this site! Thank you, girls! It's been so long since a person that I don't know started to subscribe my blogs :') I know that what I shared here might be not that useful or good for other people since I'm just writing about my day and share something that I drew. Knowing that other people seeing this blog from the statistic already makes me happy, but having a new people interested joining this site is a blessing :)

I really want to post my drawings that out of my final project topic but I still searching for a good time to work on it. So... I guess see you again, every body! Have a nice day! :D
